Samuel D. Allen, M.D.

Samuel D. Allen, M.D. graduated from Denison University with a B.A. in Psychology, then received his medical degree from Georgetown University. After completing his Ophthalmology Residency at Loyola Medical Center, Dr. Allen joined the medical team at Tallman Eye Associates.

Dr. Allen is a comprehensive ophthalmologist providing medical and surgical treatment for eye diseases, including no-stitch cataract surgery, complete eye exams with his expertise in the

management of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. His special interests include improving delivery of care in chronic eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He is board certified in ophthalmology and has been with TEA since 2000 as an active partner.

Dr. Allen is married with three daughters. They enjoy hiking, skiing, tennis and travel.
