Olin V. Burkhart, M.D.

Dr. Olin V. Burkhart received his BA in Biology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. He then worked as a photolithography engineer at a microelectronics semiconductor firm before going on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr Burkhart completed his internships at the
Joslin Clinic and the Dorchester Multi Specialty Clinic in Boston. Following Optometry school and

 

his internships he was in private practice. Dr. Burkhart joined Tallman Eye Associates in 1990. Dr. Burkhart is licensed as a TPA Certified Optometrist indicating that he is fully licensed and can prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Dr Burkhart’s optometric interests include medical optometry, contact lenses and general vision care. His personal interests include oil and watercolor painting as well as monoprint and monotype. He has his own studio/gallery in his home. He also enjoys perennial gardening and home restoration
